Our approach comes from lived experience, years of caring for our own gardens, learning what thrives over time, and developing a deep respect for the rhythms of living landscapes. Growing up surrounded by plants and influenced by generational knowledge, we learned early that gardens are not static designs, but evolving environments that require patience and understanding.

Our work has been deeply influenced by the California coast, particularly Santa Barbara and Cambria, where we witnessed the meeting of heat and ocean air, and the quiet resilience of plants shaped by wind, salt, and sun. Those landscapes revealed the beauty of restraint & endurance; lessons that continue to guide how we design today.

That foundation was further shaped by early work within the plant world, where a love for uncommon and exotic plants took root and never left. Together, these experiences inform everything we create, from sanctuary gardens to living installations with a focus on stewardship and long-term vitality.
We design gardens meant to be lived in, not managed ~ spaces that feel grounded, intentional, and enduring.
We are a family of artists… storytellers, painters, musicians, clothing designers and illustrators… shaped by decades of creative work and a shared belief that art is meant to be lived with, not held back.
That creative foundation continues through our family today & is a part of our everyday life. We believe creativity is a gift, one meant to be shared, and we approach our work with gratitude, humility, and care.
Our gardens are an extension of that belief: living compositions shaped by light, texture, and time, created to be lived in.
